GardenArch Retractable Manual Awning Cassette Electric Motorised Door Window Patio Canopy Sun Shade with R/C & LED, 350 x 300cm, Grey

Having finally decided to make the switch to buy an awning to cover our patio area and doing lots of research i settled on this product. The price and delivery seemed to be what we were looking for and reviews seemed positive. I still assumed at this low price compared to most the item would be cheaply made or not last that long. I was wrong. When item arrived at 10am Tuesday after ordering late Sunday i was pleasantly suprised by the quality. It took 3 of us to lift comfortably and was very solidly built. It looked beautiful. We had a friend help us put it up as it needed many anchor bolts into the wall due to being so heavy and were pleasantly suprised that it had a normal plug so no need for an electrician, the motor operates really smoothly and being able to use the manual option if any problems with motor in the future was brilliant. The Led lights were an added bonus i didn't realise i needed until i had them and now couldn't be without. The only issue we have is the motor doesn't pull the awning fully into the cassette, it protrudes out about half an inch from fully closed, not particularly noticeable. There are instructions for this very issue in the manual but they are confusing and over 2 pages seem to contradict each other so we haven't figured out which way or which one of the 2 adjustments to turn on the motor to pull it in tighter but it can be done when we have a moment to fiddle with it. We just use the manual lever to pull it in that tiny bit right at the end at the moment. Overall, a well built lovely looking, great value for money item that arrived speedily and did the job as its so large it exceeds the patio area stoping the sun reaching the table and frees up valuable patio space from the previous cantilever parasol base.

What service. Superb quick delivery - ordered Sunday, arrived Tuesday. Installed in a couple of hours (really heavy, so go careful) and couldn’t be happier. A few adjustments to get the pitch angle correct but works fantastically well and really good quality. The LED lighting is a really nice touch and glad we went with that. Really impressed to be fair. Great company to deal with. 5* all round from me - highly recommended.

Great awning quality for the price and quick delivery. It worked fine for a few weeks but then the remote stopped working. GardenArch very kindly sent us a replacement but we have the same issue. I think it only needs to be re-programmed but we haven’t been able to do that with the instructions provided. Apart from this, the awning is good and luckily we can still use it as a manual one while awaiting a solution on the remote issue
