Well contructed but not good in wind

I attached mine directly to the side of a privacy screen I built instead of mounting it on the rotating base that came with it. That way, the support pole is rock solid and doesn’t budge, and I didn’t need to buy any weights to hold it down. This also allowed me to mount it so that the edge of the umbrella was seven feet off the ground. If mounted on the provided base, the edge of the umbrella is just slightly more than six feet off the ground.The umbrella works great….as long as there is no wind. I would recommend this umbrella for calm days or very light breezes. If you mount it on the provided base, make sure you use enough weight to hold it down. The wind blowing on a ten foot canopy can produce a lot of force.

A well-made Parasol Set

We ordered the set of parasol, 4-section base and parasol cover. which promptly arrived in two consignments. The base is reassuringly solid and provides good support, the parasol is well-made and feels sturdy and the cover is of more than adequate size and well-constructed. The parasol was easy to assemble and provides good cover. We will take heed of the instruction to lower it in windy conditions and will put it away over winter. We look forward to several years of use.

Easy to put together. Crank mechanism works really well. Good value. We used four 50b sandbags to weight the base which seems fine.Covers nice section of the pool in the afternoon sun. Really couldn't be happier with this purchase.

very impressed

I wanted a parasol the can be easily put up and down and change its position. I am so pleased that not only does it rise and fall the a trigger /gun like handle and can twist round with a foot brake , there's also a handle to change the angle of the parasol. So in all it can stay in one place and fully follow the sun throughout the day even late-on when the sun drops to the horizon.
