The pergola arrived as promised and once unpacked and identified I began construction. Providing you follow the instructions it was fairly easy to complete and took me about 4 hours on my own with the help of two garden umbrella poles to temporarily hold the corners. Well designed good looking product and excellent value for money.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, Quick delivery, cheap price yet looks expensive , very happy, fits perfectly on the decking area. Highly recommend before they go,

For the price, the pergola is great. It appears sturdy (so far) and looks great on our decking. As others have said, the cover isn’t waterproof, though it provides some shelter from the rain. It does provide a great amount of shade. Putting it up is tricky. Needs 2 people, preferably very tall people or use of a ladder. Delivery was later than stated on the website (which said same day despatch, 48 hour delivery). I sent a message to GardenArch querying the delivery on the day it should have arrived, and I received a reply the following working day to say it would be delivered shortly, and it arrived 2 days later. So not as quick as advertised, but still reasonable. A company called DX delivered the pergola. The lorry arrived, along with a single person, to drop off the 45lg package. If I’d not been there (or been unable) to help unload and carry the parcel to my garden, I’m not sure how they would have done this single handedly. The “handling” of the parcels left a lot to be desired. They were thrown about the lorry by the driver, whilst looking for mine (which luckily was at the very bottom, and therefore relatively unscathed). Despite his best efforts, only the packaging had any kind of damage . I can well believe some of the other reviews, who have stated theirs arrived damaged!! Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome. From order to delivery, assembly to enjoying sitting under it on a hot day. I recommend the pergola, just not sure I can recommend GardenArch, simply because of the delivery company they use and the lack of care I observed that company taking.

Took us a while to assemble as the instructions weren't so clear but in the end we managed it. My husband had to cut 3 inch off the bottom of each of the legs and re-drill the some holes so the feet would fit but looks amazing and holding up against the wind so far!

Very please looks great on my new decking, looking forward to the summer to use.
