Delivery.

We deliver all of our own furniture through our own white glove delivery service. Our drivers will help you through the whole process, placing the product in your garden and assembling furniture right there for your convenience.

Delivery lead times vary by product. Expect delivery within 5working days for accessories/covers and 7-21 working days for all other products. You will receive an email/text with an exact delivery date once your order is placed.

We deliver to anywhere in the UK , Ireland and the Isle of Wight.

Returns.

Charles Taylor operates a returns policy in accordance with your consumer rights.

If the product purchased is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we may offer you a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate. If any services we provide have not been performed properly, we may offer to re-perform the services or refund you some or all of the price of the services.(This applies to furniture only)

10 Year Rot Free Guarante

We guarantee our products for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery against "rot", provided that the product is treated twice annually with Taylor Brown Wood Preservative. Rot is defined as the decomposition and breakdown of the wood, caused by fungus, feeding on wet, unprotected timber. Under his warranty, we are unable to replace products that have not been treated, or have been treated with an alternative paint, stain or preservative.

The guarantee applies to all Charles Taylor manufactured products delivered on, or after, 1st March 2019. Proof of purchase and use of Taylor Brown preservative is required to make a valid claim.

The guarantee does not cover change in colour or appearance due to natural weathering.

The guarantee does not apply to items that have been modified or altered.

The guarantee does not cover small splits and cracks that occur naturally as the timber ages which are of no detriment to the product.

The guarantee does not apply to defective fixtures and fittings.

Defects, as used in the warranty, are defined as imperfections in the craftsmanship or materials used and need to be reported within 14 days of delivery. Defects reported within the stated time period will be repaired, or the defective item replaced, subject to the terms and conditions.

The guarantee does not cover wear and tear from normal, domestic, and commercial use.

The guarantee does not cover parasols and bases.

The guarantee does not cover our furniture covers , we have sourced our fitted cover range to offer good value for money. It is really difficult to offer a warranty due to extreme weather conditions so please check your cover on delivery.

The guarantee is only valid for the original owner and the original delivery address, as stated on the purchase receipt.

Aftercare Advice

Your furniture is supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative.

To help protect and extend the life of your furniture we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months.

All preservatives and aftercare products are available on our online store.

Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking , splitting , warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence , because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws.

Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.
